ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM - Access Control is a method of controlling and monitoring Access Points to a building. An Access Point is any door that is equipped with a special device that locks the door to prevent unwanted access and one or more identity verifiers that allow a person to identify him or herself to the Access Control system.

ACTIVE DYNAMIC BRAKE (ADB-2) - The ADB-2 is an add-on option for the Selectronics Model LWC-392 motor drive control. It provides a controlled linear decreasing braking force for the spindle when the STOP or YARN BREAK mode is initiated. This provides gentle braking action of the spinning yarn package to eliminate package shift or bale roller scuffing of the perimeter of the yarn package, but yet provide the quickest possible full stop.

BEEPER ALERT LINK (BAL-2) - The BAL-2 is designed to be used as an alerting system to notify beeper-carrying personnel of an alarm or trouble event. When connected to an alarm system or a condition monitor the BAL-2 will, upon activation, transmit a signal to the beeper(s) when an event occurs and every three minutes thereafter until the TEST/CANCEL on the transmitter panel is pressed.

CONDITION ALERT LINK SYSTEM (CAL) - Provides condition monitoring of all parameters aboard refrigerated transport units. Controls refrigeration, engine, and alerts near-by personnel in the event of condition violation via radio transmission to pocket beeper.

CONDITION LIMIT CONTROLLER - Condition monitoring for refrigerated transport units. Monitors temperature and other refrigeration parameters. Shuts down engine in the event of condition violation.

CURRENT FAILURE DETECTOR (CFD-1) - The CFD-1 monitors an AC or pulsating DC current and keeps its output relay energized as long as the flow exceeds 10 milliamperes. Sensing is done non-contact by passing a current carrying conductor through the sense loop where the flow is inductively monitored.

DANCER CONTROL DRIVE (DCD-1) - The Dancer Control Drive (DCD-1) is designed to provide drive power to a yarn winder DC motor. The motor speed and torque are very accurately controlled by the position of a dancer compensator arm to keep constant or controlled tension on the yarn throughout the package build.

DANCER CONTROL DRIVE (DCD-2) - The DCD-2 is designed to provide drive power to a yarn winder AC torque motor. The motor torque is very accurately controlled by the position of a dancer arm to keep constant or controlled tension on the yarn throughout package build.

DANCER CONTROL REFERENCE (DCR-1) - The DCR-1 is position-sensing and signal processing amplifier for use in yarn and tape winders and other take-up applications. It senses the position of the “dancer” arm in the filament path, applies the Selectronics’ patented Regulated Setpoint Convergence (RSCtm) algorithm to process the position signal, and then derives from it an “intelligent” reference signal to control the speed or torque of the motor that is driving the take-up spindle of the winder.

DEDICATED AUTOMATIC TELEPHONE - Activation automatically dials programmed telephone number and enables speakerphone for hands free communications. For applications such as emergency alert in elevators.

DIELECTRIC MOISTURE METER - Utilizes passive and durable sensor to monitor moisture content of hazardous nuclear waste, soils, grain, etc.

DIGITAL ALARM REPORTING TRANSMITTER - For transmission of events or conditions via telephone lines.

DIGITAL CODE COMMUNICATOR - Converts digital ID or value to audible pulses to be sent via radio as personnel alert.

MAGNETIC ANGLE SENSOR (MAS-2) - The MAS is an angular position sensor that has the advantage of being non-contact yet has the ability to detect angular position with extreme accuracy.

MAGNETIC ANGLE SENSOR (MAS-5) - The MAS-5 is a rotating shaft angular position sensor that has the advantage of being "non-contact" yet has the ability to detect angular position with extreme accuracy. It does this by sensing the polar orientation of a magnet attached to the end of the moving shaft.

MARINE CRUISE CONTROL - Maintains even speed of craft such as ski tow boats.

MONILINE - (Model Series) Monitors and detects theft or tampering of vending machines, golf carts, boats, appliances.

MULTI-FUNCTION PRECISION CONTROLLER (DigiSET) - The Digi-SET can serve as a: MASTER speed reference, SLAVE ratio follower, MODULATING speed reference controlling motor drives with convenience and digital precision. COMMAND or process RATE (speed) is selected for display by the CMD/RATE key. A host computer or PLC may be connected via RS-422 link to control and receive data from the DigiSet.

QUENCH AIR CONTROL SYSTEM (QAC) - The QAC monitors and quantifies the filament cooling effort (quench) on the Spun Synthetic Fibers and effects an accurate control of the quench air flow to regulate a constant quench condition despite variations in supply air temperature, humidity, density, pressure and filter clogging. At the same time, it monitors related parameters and collects historical data to allow derivation of ideal quench setpoint values.

TENSION COMPACTION CONTROLLER (TCC-1) - Improvements in yarn package formation may be realized by controlling and, as the package builds, changing the yarn winding tension and the spindle-against-roller-bail pressure (compaction). The Tension Compaction Controller TCC-1 provides this programmable control by intelligently generating analog reference signal for the pneumatic pressure regulators that drive the linear-force-producing air cylinders which create the yarn tension and compaction force.

WEB WINDER CONTROLLER - The science of optimizing the geometry and the winding tension of web materials as it is wound onto a roll has come along way with the advancement of technology. A typical web take-up consists of a driven roll or spindle onto which the web is wound. This is known as a “center-wind”. The motor and gear arrangement that drives the center-wind provides torque which turns the center-wind and produces a tension on the web being wound.

WHISTLE DETECTING CONTROL - Senses referee's whistle and stops clock in basketball game.

WINDER COMPENSATOR TRANSDUCER - The MAS is a direct electrical replacement for the standard LVDT-type Leesona compensator arm transducer. However, it is mechanically far superior and much more dependable. That is because there is no mechanical connection between the transducer and the moving compensator arm.

WIRELESS ALARM REPORTER - Portable burglar alarm that may be temporarily set up in an area with intrusion threat to communicate via telephone lines or radio if intrusion occurs.
